Good job on wearing them for four years. I can finally join in the experience as well.Stephan 发表于 2024-9-9 22:49:06
Yes I do. I first started out with a simple removable ankle chain that was custom made with a clasp. However it kept coming off in my sleep. It was at this point i had it welded onto my left foot. After another couple of months i experimented with a fixed oval ankle bracelet which was also custom made by a friend and I wore this for many years. I added another chain to my right foot that was also welded. I still wear both chains. Then i discovered Ahai’s round anklets that were ok,but actually really easy to remove without a key because they would flex open or apart. I kept searching and wanted to go on for some more permanent solutions. I searched everywhere and did not find anything suitable for years until i found titanium hibiscus permanent anklets on taobao. The owner was/is great to work with and made me a pair. I first replaced my left Ahai anklet with a truly permanent on and yesterday i did the same to the right foot. Social death for sure at this point. I like the permanent feel and really wanted jewelry that was more like a tattoo and would not be able to be removed. I am waiting on one more bracelet for my right hand. It should add that my anklets are out of titanium and dont even scratch. The material has been treated for hardness and will be hard to cut. I tried a small marking on the underside and it was impossible. The locking mechanism consists of two spring pins. You have to carefully insert them as you are closing the locking piece. Then you slide it into place and you can hear the “click” and its permanent. I am not sure how you would even destroy it to take it off. The material is very hard. I am very nervous today and will need time to get used to wearing both. How are you doing with your two anklets in public? Do you get any questions about them being permanent? Do they ever hurt your ankles? I think it might be easier as a female to wear ankle jewelry. Let me know how you have overcome social anxiety with your large ankle bracelets.
