My family has asked and all i say its just jewelry… i think they have gotten used to me wearing anklets for a while now. Not everyone knows that they are very permanent now.
I used to be the same way but it becomes impossible when you wear permanent jewelry! There is no way to always hide it. I have kind of started taking a more bold approach of showing it all the time and mainly being barefoot as often as I can. I want to show it and i want my feet to properly get used to wearing them! It is a big step for sure and taking the permanent plunge is nerve wrecking sometimes.
